He is from Zlín and from the age of 15 he worked part-time in pieces of footwear in the national company Svit with the machines of the company Baťa. In 1991, he went for a 2-year study in the USA. In 1993 he founded a student club, in 1995 he co-founded and ran a design studio. Since 2005, he has been working in the ČSOB Group in ČSOB Leasing, Hypoteční banka and ČSOB. His domain is marketing, design, innovation, change management. From 2015 to 2017 he worked at KBC where he was in charge of group initiatives in the field of marketing, design and innovation. In addition to Digital Design, he starts the ČSOB ReDi SAFe Train. He completed business economics at the University of Economics and professional courses in LA and London. He is a certified SAFe agilist.
During his career Luděk has has been moving towards IT and business and has long-term experience with working in international companies. He started as a developer of document processing solutions for the German software company IXOS (now OpenText), worked for some time directly in Munich, gradually took on a managerial role and at the end of his tenure was in charge of the Prague branch with development, sales and service departments. In 2005, he started working for Deutsche Post DHL Europe, where he managed development and delivery of services for Europe and globally. For several years, he was directly responsible for managing and developing a team of project managers at the European level. For the last 7 years he has been working for ČSOB, where he participated in the successful completion of the upgrade of the banking transaction system for retail, led IT operations and support, and after the DevOps transformation, was in charge of the bank’s key systems. Since 2018, he has been the CIO of the ČSOB Group.
Luděk is a graduate of the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, specializing in technical cybernetics, owning PRINCE2 and SAFe 5 SA certification.
Marek has been working in the field of project management since the beginning of his career – he worked for 12 years in the consulting company Accenture, where he led projects not only in the Czech Republic (Air Bank, Raiffeisenbank, ČSOB, Česká spořitelna) but also abroad – Zuno Bank in Slovakia and Hungary, K&H Bank in Hungary, Kredyt Bank in Poland, merger of Bank Pekao and Bank BPH in Poland, etc.
He has been working for ČSOB for the last 8 years – first as a Program Manager and for the last 2 years he heads the Projects and Enterprise Architecture department, where he is in charge of a team of project and program managers, portfolio management, project methodology, enterprise architecture and a new agile competence center.
Marek is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, he studied one year in Australia and one year in the USA, he holds PRINCE2, MSP and SAFe 5 SA certification.
Within ČSOB we are starting to launch a smart agile transformation. Why smart? Because we want to do it smartly – it means doing that where it makes sense and has added value. However, so far we are relatively at the beginning, because we have only started the agile transformation in January this year. Where we’ve gotten so far, that will come to tell you:
