Ondřej Vlček
Ex CEO Avast/Gen, CEO Stealth
Until June 2024, Ondřej was the President of Gen Digital (NASDAQ:GEN), a global software company formed by the merger of Avast and NortonLifeLock. In this role, he was responsible for all products, software development, technology, innovation and customer service. Prior to that, he was CEO of Avast since July 2019, where he started working during his studies.
Ondřej holds an engineering degree in mathematical modelling from the Czech Technical University in Prague and he is an internationally recognized expert in computer security; he has spoken at a number of major conferences in the past, including RSA, Web Summit, Black Hat and SXSW.

Interview: About fulfilled wishes not only in business
Where does philanthropy begin – when we make our first billion? We will discuss the economic wealth and success of individuals, projects, companies or countries as an enabler or commitment to philanthropic activities. Ondřej Vlček will give us an insight into his journey from programmer to CEO of Avast (later Gen) and his transformational impact on the company. We will also introduce the Foundation Zlatá Rybka, run by Karin Pospíšilová, which fulfills wishes of seriously ill children.
