Václav began his professional career as an analyst, gradually led a team of consultants, became the head of software development, and also held the role of project manager for large-scale migration and transformation projects. As an experienced ICT leader with more than 20 years of practice, he firmly believes that a shared vision, great team cooperation, and high-quality delivery are the keys to success. He prefers a pragmatic approach over strict application of methodological teachings, trust in the team over micromanagement, open and honest dialogue over gossip, and structure over chaos.
Václav holds a Ph.D. in applied informatics. He is convinced that lifelong learning and trying new things bring not only depth but also lightness to everyday practice, which together help the team stay motivated and focused on goals.
Take a peek under the hood of evolutionary agile transformation and be inspired by a framework that truly helps teams in the patient work of enduring change. Discover how to measure and sustain (not only) the performance of agile teams and, through practical examples, evaluate how you can utilize them to enhance predictability and efficiency. Find pleasure in learning from the challenges of others, such as those associated with a bimodal style of delivery management, the low maturity of agile teams, and the lack of basic processes – and apply these insights to your own practice.
