Karin Pospíšilová has long been involved in projects of psychosocial support in the field of health care. She founded and managed the organization called Lékořice for ten years, which was instrumental in establishing volunteer centers in four Prague hospitals. She founded the Centre for Supportive Care, which integrated the work of volunteers, play therapists and chaplains together into hospital practice.

For 12 years she was a lecturer in communication and management courses focused on coping with difficult situations and emotional intelligence.

In 2014, she began working with Katarína and Ondřej Vlček to focus on the field of pediatric palliative care. Gradually, she built the charity organization Zlatá rybka (Goldfish), which grants wishes to seriously ill children. In almost a decade of its existence, her team has granted over 1,350 wishes, including logistically challenging experiences for children with ventilator support or meeting celebrities such as Johnny Depp, Christiano Ronaldo and Ukrainian President Zelenskyj.

Karin is part of the international Wish Alliance project. She believes that the principles of wish formulation used at Zlatá rybka (Goldfish) are also crucial in management practice and personal development.

Until June 2024, Ondřej was the President of Gen Digital (NASDAQ:GEN), a global software company formed by the merger of Avast and NortonLifeLock. In this role, he was responsible for all products, software development, technology, innovation and customer service. Prior to that, he was CEO of Avast since July 2019, where he started working during his studies.

Ondřej holds an engineering degree in mathematical modelling from the Czech Technical University in Prague and he is an internationally recognized expert in computer security; he has spoken at a number of major conferences in the past, including RSA, Web Summit, Black Hat and SXSW.
