Martin has dedicated virtually his entire career to the development and delivery of complex products in the defense and armaments industry. His experience extends beyond managing large-scale military equipment delivery projects to primarily building, developing, and leading PMOs within these companies.
As Head of PMO in the industry, he focused on transforming organizations into project-driven businesses, managing project portfolios, setting up project and program management frameworks, and leading project managers.
In addition, Martin is a member of the Steering Committee of the Chamber of Project Managers, where he coordinates KPM activities across streams and regions and serves as the leader of the PMO Stream.
Nowhere else you will meet such a large group of PMO leaders, for whom a specially tailored program has been prepared at this year’s conference.
The first day will kick off with a trio of PMO practitioners (Michal Korf, Petr Lev, and Martin Slažanský), who, during a 2-hour interactive Bird of Feathers workshop, will work together with the entire group of PMO leaders to create a list of concrete steps on how to develop a PMO based on the current maturity level of their organizations.
They will be followed by Dawid Świątkiewicz, who will showcase how he aligned his PMO with the organization’s values, thereby strengthening both its strategic and cultural cohesion.
On the second day, no one should miss Obi Omoregie’s talk, in which he will present how his PMO approaches change management in the construction of the largest nuclear power plant on the Arabian Peninsula.
