Peter Podprocký has been serving as the Head of Škoda Academy since August 1, 2024. His primary responsibilities include strategic leadership and accountability for the personnel development of Škoda Auto employees, focusing on the advancement of both professional and cross-functional competencies. To support this, he oversees the creation of development concepts and HR tools.
The key projects of Škoda Academy this year include Agile Mindset – a crucial initiative for Škoda Auto’s top management, aimed at fostering agile principles within the company such as autonomy, flexibility, adaptability, transparency, and collaboration – and Skill Management, a central initiative in the transformation of education at Škoda Auto, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and skills development.
Among his other important duties are the management and enhancement of vocational education for students and the development of talent.
Agility today is no longer just the domain of IT, but is gradually becoming a key approach for the entire company.
