Capacity Planning Without Illusions: How to Align People, Projects, and Strategy
Capacity planning is not just about knowing when “we have someone available.” In practice, it takes place on several levels – from simple agreements between teams, through project management, to the leadership’s view of the entire company. Each role (project manager, resource manager, leadership) has different needs and faces different constraints.
In our interactive workshop, we will explore together how to look at capacity systematically and how to distinguish between the different levels of capacity planning. We will demonstrate the possibilities using Atlassian tools, which we use ourselves and know well, and which provide a great way to illustrate what modern technology can do today.
The goal is for you to take away practical tips that you can apply in your own organization, regardless of the tools you use.
